This update brings you a new way to turn your Figma mockups into interactive demos, as well as more options to personalize your demo links, sharpen your embeds, and speed things up. Here’s what’s new:

🎨 Storylane Figma Plugin

Turn your Figma designs into interactive, AI-powered demos with Storylane’s plugin. Test messaging, get stakeholder buy-in, and kill low-signal features early.

It’s a faster way to decide what’s worth building: Design → Demo → Decide.

Customize the demo link's back half Clean up those share links with a custom back-half. Now your demo can say /pricing-walkthrough , instead of random characters.

Customizing the link's back half will make the existing link stop working. Please use the new link once saved.

🖼️ Custom Image in Embed Overlay

The demos look sharp from the first second. Upload your custom image as the preview when embedding demos - perfect for product launches or website thumbnails that convert.

🎯 Theme's Spotlight + Backdrop Now on Screenshot Demos

Our themes now support spotlight and backdrop effects for screenshot-based demos too - giving you more speed when editing and fine-tuning demos.

👥 Assign Demo Ownership

Reassign account ownership to another team member with a click. Great for handoffs, coverage, and scaling your team’s workflow.

Go to Settings > Workspace > Account Ownership > Change Owner

You can only assign the existing admins as the new account owner.

✉️ Change Your Account Email

New email? No problem. You can now update the email tied to your account without contacting support.

Go to Profile Settings > General > Add New Email > Verify it, and you are all set

🌍 Finnish & Hungarian Now Supported

Storylane now speaks Finnish 🇫🇮 and Hungarian 🇭🇺. Whether you want to translate the entire demo or just specific steps, you are fully covered.
